What is a doorway page?

Doorway pages are html pages designed to contain the elements which search engines consider to be essential parts of a good web page. From the website visitors point of view they are usually a very basic page with a prominent 'click here to enter' link which leads through to the rest of the site.

How long does it take before I see results?

The huge backlog of sites waiting to be indexed means that the various search services can be very slow to add new sites. We normally expect a given site to be accepted by three or four after one month and around half of them after two months. Getting a site accepted on all of the services can take several months.

How much does it cost?

The cost of promoting a given site depends on a number of factors.
